Description:

The origins of Valcambi date back to 1961 at which point it was named Valori & Cambi. Based in Switzerland, Valcambi refined gold, silver, platinum and palladium into a number of different forms including minted bars, rounds, coins and more recently, the CombiBar. Throughout its entire 54 year history, Valcambi has focused solely on the business of precious metals refining, and the success of our company and its astounding reputation is based on a philosophy which highlights a commitment to our employees, clients and the industry that we are proud to be a part of.

The first ever Gold Combibar was issued in 2011 and, since then, has been a popular way to invest in this precious metal. With this 50 gram CombiBar, you can break your gold into 50 individual 1 gram bars, each of which is certified by Valcambi, making it both a unique and practical investment. The single 1g bars are manufactured with predetermined and accurate breaking points so that they can be separated without any loss of precious material. Valcambi uses only state-of-the-art refining facilities that consistently deliver the highest purity metals recovered from a wide range of feed materials, and their refining operations have an annual capacity in excess of 1200 tons for gold and 400 tons for silver.

Each of these 50x1 gram Gold Valcambi bars features the same design on both obverse and reverse. The obverse features the stamp of the Valcambi logo, something which is known because of its unique design. The logo is a frame comprised of four equal triangles, representing a stylized 400 oz LMBA Good Delivery gold bar cut diagonally. The combination of these triangles creates a golden square, something which has been used throughout history by different cultures around the world. This side is also inscribed with the weight and purity of each bar shown by the inscription "1g FINE GOLD 999.9" and Valcambi's stamp of authenticity "ESSAYEUR FONDEUR" so that even when detached, each individual bar still retains the company's hallmark. On the reverse of the entire combination of 50 bars, you'll find the serial number and product details.
