A round is defined as a coin that has no legal tender status and is minted by a private silver refinery. The 1 oz. silver International Trade Bullion (ITB) coin contains 1 Troy ounce of .999 fine silver and features a unique design. ITB rounds are a cost effective way to add precious metals to your investment portfolio because of their low premium over spot price. Silver rounds are easily traded, stacked, stored, and counted.

Round Features:

    • 1 Troy oz of .999 fine silver
    • Eligible to be included in Precious Metals IRA
    • Easily traded, stacked, stored, and counted

International Trade Bullion (ITB) produces premium metals bullion products at fully integrated private refinery in the Southwestern United States. In addition to the 1 Troy oz Silver Rounds, ITB produces 1 Troy oz, 5 Troy oz, and 10 Troy oz Silver Bars.

ITB uses 100% recycled silver that is refined to .999+. This is the exact standards of the U.S. Mint for their Silver American Eagle coins and America the Beautiful coins. This is also the same standards for the Royal Canadian Mint’s Silver Maple Leaf coin, and the standard of independent companies like Johnson Matthey, Credit Suisse, and PAMP Suisse.

The ITB refining facility is fully integrated, meaning that it is home to where the melting, analyzing, refining, casting, extruding, rolling, blanking, rimming, and striking takes place for all ITB silver rounds and bars. The state-of-the-art facility has a purity verification laboratory, where chemists and technicians use traditional fire assay, wet chemical analysis, atomic absorption, X-ray fluorescence, and other techniques to control, verify, and ensure the content and purity of each ITB round and bar.

Silver is the most used commodity in the world except for oil. Silver like gold is a precious metal that possesses an intrinsic value. It has been used as a form of money throughout history. Silver has unique characteristics that make it applicable for many industrial uses. These characteristics include conductivity, resistant to corrosion, and malleable. For these reasons silver is used in technologies within the telecommunications, medical, and energy industries.

The lower spot price of silver as compared to gold make it much more attainable to potential investors. This lower price point also makes silver more suitable in barter situations. Gold was confiscated in the 1930s but there is no precedent for the confiscation of silver. The majority of the sources of silver are in nations with a history of political upheaval and undeveloped economies.

The largest percentage of silver production comes from Mexico and Peru. The lack of infrastructure in these parts of the world make future silver production tenuous. At the same time demand for silver continues to rise based on increased industrial uses. Countries like China and India have a particular affinity for precious metals like silver and gold, furthering global demand.

Silver has many industrial uses because it the best conductor of electricity among all elements. Silver is also the best conductor thermal conductor of any metal. The lines in the rear window of most cars includes silver to defrost ice and snow during winter. The word “silver” and “money” are the same in over 14 languages. There is no English word that rhymes with silver.

ITB rounds can also be included in a Precious Metals IRA. Additional paperwork is required to include precious metals in an IRA.
